SLATE ML-2 TEST

VOCALS

MIC A&B - U67 and ML-2 through fairly clean console preamps (not necessarily in this order)

MIC C&D - U67 through a real 1073 and ML-2 through fairly clean console preamps with FG73 followed by FG-N with matching settings. (not necessarily in this order)

MIC E&F - SM7b and ML-2 through fairly clean console preamps (not necessarily in this order)

MIC G&H - AKG 414EB and ML-2 through fairly clean console preamps (not necessarily in this order) - This one is interesting because technically ML-2 is modeling a different version of the 414, but I found it quite interesting to compare the fidelity of the 2 mics.

DRUMS

ML-2 TEST - KICK
MIC A&B - D112 and ML-2 through fairly clean console preamps (not necessarily in this order)

ML-2 TEST - SNARE
MIC A&B - SM57 and ML-2 through fairly clean console preamps (not necessarily in this order)

ML-2 TEST - TOM
MIC A&B - MD421 MKII and ML-2 through fairly clean console preamps (not necessarily in this order) - this emulation is of a different iteration of this mic, but nonetheless the results are quite interesting. Can you guess which one is the real 421?

ML-2 TEST - ROOM
MIC A&B - U67 and ML-2 through fairly clean console preamps (not necessarily in this order)

GUITAR

For both clean and crunch tones, I kept the mics in the same spot and crammed them together as tightly as it was possible... This is a fun one because I have 2 real vintage SM57s here, Royer 121 and a single ML-2 with both SM57 models it comes with as well as the 121 model. This is a lot of mics to guess though, but give it your best shot!
